I have heard about the sitting services (clubs) at many of the resorts - like the neverland club and the cubs den. What is the cost of this service. My daughter and her cousins finally all meet the 4 year old age requirement. I think they would have a good time. Hopefully it won't break the bank.

Our kids used Simba's Club at AKL. At the time it was $8 per child per hour, but I think the price has gone up since '02.
The kids were fed dinner, and had just about every activity you can think of available. They had a ball and really didn't want to leave. At 9pm they pick a Disney movie and have "quiet time".
DH and I just went to Jiko for dinner, so we were only gone 3 hours. The cost for Simba's was $48. We had all had a good time, but including the cost of the meal it was a really expensive night out and in my opinion I don't think we'll be doing that again!

We were at the Poly in 02..I think it was about $10 an hour but a max of 4 hours. (The Neverland Club) DD was 6 at the time. I remember that she got to crawl through a window to get in..(Peter Pan) and they sprinkled her with Pixie Dust..she thought that was NEAT! They had a little buffet dinner and crafts then a movie later on. It was well decorated and looked like lots to do!
I thought it was nice that they gave us a pager to reach us in case of any problems.
She recieved a certificate and brought her artwork home.
Yes, it was expensive but was worth it for a few hours of alone time/dinner one evening with DH. (It was my first trip to WDW too!)
I believe they discount the rate for 2 children. I can't remember where I saw it but the rates for this year are posted somewhere on these boards.
I don't know about the in room sitters - but IMHO they must do a good job for Disney to refer them.
Hope this helps - have a great time!::MinnieMo

When we were at BWV in 4/02, we brought our 2 oldest kids to Boardwalk's Harbor Club. I think it was $8/hr/kid but as others have mentioned I think the price has gone up (and did I hear they've cancelled the club at BWV?). The kids had a great time, they were fed, watched videos, played games, etc. It doesn't sound as cute as the Neverland Club but it was great for DW and I to have some alone time. Our youngest daughter wasn't 4, so we did an in-room babysitting service for her (Kids Night Out). She also had a good time, the baby sitter brought a bag of toys and activities to keep her busy, although it cost something like $13/hr. We also did the Pirates Cruise at GF, kids totally loved it!
