Kid-sitting or Activities for "Mature" 12 year old

DS will be 12 before our next trip and is a Red Cross trained babysitter. We've let him stay at home to watch his 7 year old sister for a couple of hours and neighborhood parents are starting to ask for his services, but we don't feel right about leaving the two of them alone in the hotel for a parents night out. Do you have any suggestions that won't make him feel "like a baby"?

My son is also 12.
I didn't want to leave him alone in the room. It's just not something a 12 yr old would enjoy. Even though he's old enough to stay an hour or two alone it would just be to borring for him.

So I booked him and his younger siblings into the neverland kids club.

From what I've heard that is the best kids club for older kids.
They have lots of video games (which is what he'll like)
Movies, food, etc.

I would check out the kids clubs - they take ages 4 - 12 and have activities for all ages. This way your 12 yo can enjoy himself as well as the siblings and not feel like he is "working" on vacation.

We have used Simbas (excellent) and I noticed some older girls and boys were playing board games and video games. We have used the Camp Dolphin and our girls liked it because they brought them all to the video arcade.

We used the Neverland Club as well and the girls liked it but their favorite was Simba's. I would check out the FAQ's on Debs site and see either what fits best for your children or maybe even the place closest to where you and dh are going to be. We ate at Jiko the night we used Simbas and went to MGM and then the Boardwalk the night we used Camp Dolphin.
