Myself and Hubby went to DLP 26th- 30th Jan and we were staying at Hotel New York.
We had 2 flights to get to paris and arrived at our hotel about 3pm on the Monday afternoon. We had an easy check in and were given our room on the 8th floor. We just couldn't believe the view from our window, we were right in the middle overlooking the ice rink and the lake. It was stunning.
After a quich look around our room we headed for the disneyland park. As we entered they were just announcing that the parade would start in 5 mins so we picked a spot and waited. We couldn't believe that there were so many spots left at so near to parade time. We loved the parade as we hadn't seen it before, we never had the camera with us as it was still packed so it meant we really got to enjoy it without worrying about photos.
Afterwards we headed of to do rides. We started with BTMRR and moved onto IJATOD, POTC. All with no queues of more than 5 mins. We then headed into fantasy land where we went on Peter Pan, Dumbo (yes 2 adults no kids) boy that was really squeeky. Onwards to teacups, IASW and space mountain where we encounterd our 1st queue. I don't know what they were doing but we were queuing outside and the cm would only let about 10 people go in at a time
but once we got there was hardly any queues. We then just had time for a quick go on Buzz, my score was awful, I just couldn't get used to the guns coming of the ride (they are stuck on in WDW). By now it was 7pm so we left but not without looking at how beautiful the castle looked all lit and we made a promise to each other that we would watch candlebration one night and get there early to get a good spot.
We wandered through disney village, looking in all the shops and had a macdonalds. Back at the hotel we went into the bar
what prices. That was our only visit there
. back in our room we sat looking down at the ice rink and I must say it was very entertaining
