Kids get 2 free games of bowling for free/ per day at participating bowling alleys. We did this last year and the kids had a great time, great for rainy days. You can upgrade to family membership but do not have too.

Thanks! Almost did this last summer, maybe this year we will get the pass. It says 4 adults are allowed on it so I may add my MIL and my Dad.

I just did the free bowling for the kids last year I didn't even get the upgrade , I may get the upgrade for adults this year.

Does this include shoes? So it is totally free for the kids?

No, sorry, you'll have to rent shoes for $3 each.

What a great idea for those staying around DLR this summer and have their own vehicle. The Concourse Entertainment Center in Anaheim is part of the deal and isn't too far from DLR (off the 91 fwy between Glassell and Tustin. Actually I'm thinking of doing this-the Center is about 20 miles from our home (on the way to DL)

We did this last year and DS (4 at the time) loved it. It was a great activity for those blazing hot or rainy summer days. DS's friends also signed up so we could all go together.

We signed up for it last year and paid the fees for 3 adults because we weren't sure who would have the kids on rainy days.
We tried 4 different times and each time the bowling alley was closed to walk-ins. they had summer camps there and no room for anyone else.
So I am not going to even sign up this year. Glad to hear it did work out for others.

If you sign your kids up and plan to go often, it may be cheaper to buy an inexpensive pair of bowling shoes than to pay repeated rental fees.
