My doc suggested something like a kick scooter out some sort of standing scooter for me to get around there parks. Are they allowed?

No. knee scooters are, however using one in overly crowded circumstances and the length of time one typically spends at Disney can be challenging.

Those kind of scooters aren't allowed in the parks

This screenshot is from the WDW list of prohibited items. It specifically calls out scooters.

Even if you were saying you are using it as a mobility device, it would not meet the guidelines for a mobility devices. I can’t imagine it would be very safe in the parks - too fast and too easy to tip.
If you need some sort of supported walking device, a rollator (walker with fold down seat) would be a much safer (and allowed) device

Thanks for that. Can I find a place to rent a rollator near the parks? I have a scooter rental on hold but can cancel up until Friday. I can walk with some support and stops along the way. Stand still is not a problem. I am looking for the easiest and simplest way to get around the park.

On our last trip my daughter's friend used a knee scooter similar to the one above. It worked very well for her needs.
