I could just throw myself in front of a .... AAAAAAAAAAAAUUGH! I cannot believe how stupid I was.

I had called AAA in Anaheim last week (I used the phone number that was in another thread) to ask about ordering the Passporter Plus tickets (the one in which not only do you get 5 days for 3, but the ESPN card, and a breakfast voucher).

Anyway, while I was speaking to the AAA agent - who was on the phone speaking with Disney at the time, I asked her to order the tickets for me. The AAA agent told me you can only get these with a package (she said she confirmed this with the Disney agent she was speaking with), but I remembered someone had said you could get these tickets separately.

The AAA agent asked the lady at Disney and the agent at Disney said, "Oh, you can just these on line." So, I went ahead and ordered them, oh I could cry. These are the wrong tickets.

I just called Disney and went thru the whole story and they basically said sorry. You ordered the tickets, you got the,=m.

I am so upset. How stupid could I be?

I recently posted a similar thread. Got the same sympathetic response from Disney. AAA tried for me their best to find any way to upgrade, etc., but also got no help. Other people told me of the non-AAA version available (park hopper plus I believe) so I tried calling several times to see if I could at least upgrade to that (about the same price as the AAA one but didn't include the parking!), but no one at DL knew what I was talking about or insisted you had to have a hotel reservation to do it.

The main thing I wanted from the package was the unlimited FP's. Tried to sell my other tickets on ebay, got bidders, but no one's paid me yet! So I'm afraid to buy the AAA ones and get stuck with 2 sets! And our AAA agent told us (in MI at least) it would take 2 weeks to get those tickets for us so now we're getting in a time crunch! What to do!?!?

I cannot tell you how disappointed I am. I know you must be also. I called both my AAA here (Massachusetts) and the one in Anaheim and was told you must by these with a package.

What I find the most annoying is that when I was on the phone with the AAA agent in Anaheim (to make matters worse it was a toll-call from Massachusetts) she was on the phone with the DL agent and the DL agent told her to tell me to get the tickets on line.

When I asked the AAA agent if these are the tickets I wanted she said yes, that is what the DL agent just told her.

I'd be even more upset if I were you. I think I'd expect the AAA agent to buy the tickets back from me & get me the right ones since it sounds like it was really her fault. Mine was just a matter of timing. I saw the deal for the 5 for 3 day thing & that you had to buy it online so I did so. My experience with AAA in the past was if you bought Disney tickets you got some kind of $5 discount or so, so I figured this would have to be way better. Then a week or so later, I picked up the AAA brochure & saw their offer. I wasn't nearly as upset by all the "perks", ESPN, parking, breakfast, since if I really want those I can buy them (for more money granted!) but really want the unlimited fastpass. This is sure to be our only trip to California - at least until the kids are grown & gone & I'd like to do as much as possible!

Everyone else out there, are you listening and learning!!!

I also goofed by getting a hotel unseen thru Expedia,no refund,no changes, Well, the room they put us in just wasn't what I thought I paid big bucks for. We ask the hotel for a refund,NO WAY,they don,t get paid for many weeks after we have gone home. At least the Hotel Manger was able to move us to a room more like what I reserved the next day saving our vacation.

I was sooooo glad we weren't stuck with the Hotel in San Diego, that Dh had reserved!! It had the WORSED Beds in the World!! We were able to move to an All Suites Hotel with good beds!

You know, the really dumb thing is, those Passport Plus passes are shown and described right in the lovely full-color AAA/Disneyland brochure that AAA hands out! All that agent had to do was open the darn thing and LOOK!

I don't blame you for being mad.

Well, I know we will have a great vacation regardless of the tickets we ended up with. Mary, oh how I wished I had just sent an email to Sue at Small World Travel.

I went through the entire terms of the tickets with the AAA agent, who in turn relayed the info to the DL agent on the phone, and they still sent me the wrong way! Oh well, live and learn.

I went to my AAA office here in Santa Barbara, and they did not sell those tickets. They claimed they did not sell any Disneyland tickets.

Maybe the woman was wrong, but that's the story I fgot.

Well, I sold 4 of my 5 tickets so far on ebay so I could buy the AAA ones. (took a bit of a loss, but think the free parking will make up for it) My husband went to AAA today and the agent waited on hold for more than an hour with Disney to buy the tickets. This was after several different numbers told her she had to call a different number. The number she finally called was actually a Disney WORLD area code - 407-566-4985. But they insisted this was the only number for online ticketing for any Disney park.

They confirmed we got all the things listed in the AAA brochure (Parking, unlimited FP's, breakfast, ESPN card) and the price agreed ($122.75 adult, 99 something kids). They also said to sell it they had to ship it to a AAA office, not a home to ensure you were actually a member. So they're shipping it to our AAA office and it's supposed to go out in 5 working days. If it's the wrong thing, I'm not taking it and taking it up with our credit card!!

I'll let you all know in a week or so if we actually get the right ones!

I was going to order them on line but then I remembered reading something about the unlimited FastPasses so I called the DisneyClub. I got the package with the unlimited FP, ESPN Zone Cards and breakfast. I'm really happy. Does anyone know if you can get the unlimited FP anyway at WDW? We're going their in March and Disneyland in July.

Can you just buy these passes through Disney Club or do you have to buy a package with hotel included?

I bought a "package" without the hotel. I'm using my DVC points so I didn't need the hotel. The package has the 3 day tickets (good for 5 days) with the unlimited fastpass feature, a $10 ESPN Zone card and one breakfast.
