Keys to the Kingdom

That way you're among the first into the park and you're feeling at your best. It's a fairly long tour (4-5 hours) with a lunch break at the Columbia Harbor House, but ALOT of walking and standing!!!!

Have fun!!!! :bounce:

I think our tour started at 10:00 and we had a great guide.I highly recommend it ! We plan on doing some of the other tours.Has anyone heard of the Christmas decorations tour ?

When we went on this tour, we took the 8:30 am tour. We did it on a Saturday, so by the end of the tour, the MK was getting crowded. If you don't mind starting your day early, I recommend this one. Lunch was around 11:30am.

Thanks for the information! I think we will take the first tour of the day that sounds best in case it does start to get crowded.

Its called the Yuletide tour. We did it last December. It was fun. We went to the Christmas warehouse and learned a lot of interesting facts.

Here is a link to a thread with some information

I think early morning is the best time... there is a lot of info given to you during that tour and I am much more alert in the am before doing any park activities.... It is a great tour..

Hubby and I took the Keys to the Kingdom tour one week ago. I asked about the best time to take the tour. I was told they have them at 8:30, 9 and 9:30 AM. I was also told that the later tours seem to get full first - the maximum number of people for this tour is 25.

We took the 8:30 AM tour. Rae was our tour guide and she was WONDERFUL! We only had 9 people on the tour plus our guide so I felt like we had lots of opportunities to ask questions and really talk about the answers.

I didn't realize that lunch is included in the price of the tour. You get a menu when you check in and you get to pick your lunch and drink from that menu. When you get to the Columbia Harbour House your lunch is waiting for you with a place card with your name on it.

We really enjoyed this tour and found it well worth the money and a high point of the trip.

This is a relatively recent addition. I took the KTTK tour in June of 2000. We did break for lunch. But it was pay as you go.
