I am scheduled to take the Keys to the Kingdom tour for the first time in July. The tour begins at 8:30 AM.Since I will be allowed into Magic Kingdom before opening, will it be possible to take some pictures of an empty Main Street before putting my camera into a locker? Also, approximately what time can I expect the tour to end? Thanks. :earsboy:

We did the Keys to the Kingdom Tour last Friday. We were able to take our camera on the tour with us as long as we "promised with all our hearts" not to take pictures during the tour. Our guide did tell us that cameras would be confiscated if we were to use them during the tour. I think that as long as the tour has not started, you are able to take pictures of the park while you wait for the tour guide to begin the tour. We were asked to wait next to the guest relations office before our guide came to pick us up. Just step out into the street and snap away! It was a fun tour and our guide (David) was very informative and funny. Our 9 AM tour ended about 2:00 - David liked to talk about Disney so much that we went over the usual 4 hour time. Hope you have a great time.

How much does this tour cost? I've been hearing about it on here and would love to do it.

I believe it's $60 ($59.95 or something). Discounts are available for AP holders, as well as Disney Visa holders I think.

This is such an awesome tour! I took the tour November 2004 and had too much fun! The guide was informative and outgoing. We, too kept our cameras, but no one tried to take any pictures.

I was disappointed to not see more of the Utilidor system. I thought that would be facinating! However, from what I understand, that deep part of the tour is no more since September 11th. We did, however, go backstage and underground to part of the Utilidor system, but we only saw a bunch of hallways. Still, it was interesting.

Backstage was cool. We were able to see some interesting things and learn more fun facts. All in all, you should have a great time! It is well worth the money.

Enjoy! :flower:

And you can take all the pictures you want before and during the tour, just none backstage. it, like all the tours (I have done 9 of them) are great, well worth the time and money. Enjoy.

Wow! I had no idea there were so many tours. We just may have to try one in December. Thanks for the link. :teeth:

I think I read on a website that you go on some rides or to some shows,do you have to wait in lines?I thought I read that somewhere and I would think that would take up alot of tour time.
Thanks!!!!

As I recall from my November 2004 trip, we went through a back corridor for the HM but stood in line for the PofC. :flower:
