Who's been on the Keys To The Kingdom Tour at Magic Kingdom? Did you enjoy it, was it worth doing?
Is it a straight 5 hours or do you get breaks?

Thanks

We did it years ago and enjoyed it. There were a few potty breaks and lunch break. I don't know if they still do it but we rode a few rides, head of the line kind of thing.

We loved it. You do get a few breaks and you get lunch. You get to ride some rides, skipping right to the front of the line. You get to learn a lot of interesting facts and go in the Utilidors. Definitely worth the money.

We did it about 7 years ago now. We loved it. It is a lot of walking, but it isn't too bad. As others have said, there are potty breaks and a lunch break. We also rode Pirates and Jungle Cruise.

that might be one thing at disney that is under priced.. If you want to learn about disney and see some behind the scenes stuff, it's the tour for you.

If you want to learn more about walts influence and not see behind the scenes then marceline to magic is the tour for you (and available to younger children if that's an issue since there is no behind the scenes secrets revealed)

liked it a lot. Definitely worth it. Learn all kinds of interesting things. I would recommend doing it at the end of your trip, so the 'magic' won't be lost if you do MK after and you 'know' all the secrets they told :)

we done it twice. highly recommend it. We just did it last July when my son was finally of age to go on the tour (must be at least 16 yrs old) They changed it up a little bit from the first time we went on it. I do have to say this changed it for the better. You see more of the utilidors, which is cool. You get breaks and a lunch (tomorrowland Terrance) We rode two attractions, Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion

When we got home from Disney I asked my son if the tour ruined the magic and he is No, if anything it made him appreciate more all the work that goes into making Disney Magical :)

Definitely worth it. As far as when to do it, we did our first one at the end of our trip and the second kind of mid point in our trip. It was kind of fun going back to MK after the tour and noticing the little things that you learned on the tour :)

We did it November 2015 and also really like it. We rode JC and HM and got to go into the parade storage buildings behind Splash. The utilidoors were cool but essentially just hallways. You don't get to go anywhere too "sensitive".
I recommend it to anyone who loves Disney World. I'm sure it depends on your guide with most things but our guy was really good. Our lunch was a Harbor House and we never ventured into Fantasy land or Tomorrow Land.

Do it!

DH and I did it about 5 years ago, pre-kids. We loved it and had a great time! Definitely worth it.

It is a great tour. Have taken it twice, several years apart. Both times it was excellent. 5 hours with breaks and lunch.

If you have AP, DVC or Disney Visa, 15% discount.

This is a great tour also. Well worth the time. Less expensive than Keys, about 3 hours, no lunch.

There is backstage at the Haunted Mansion, with 'magic' revealed. That portion of the tour is pretty significant.

Only other reminder is that it does have an age restriction on it. Must be 16 or older. I've done it either 2 or 3 times, LOVED it every time.

Actually on our July 2016 tour, we were told they changed it, so now you spend more time in the utilidoors. We saw a lot more than the first time (in 2014?) You now enter the utilidoor in Fantasyland and come out on Main Street :)

DH & I did it last December when it was the two of us. We loved it! We did have some bathroom breaks and stopped for lunch at CHH. We will be by ourselves again December 2017 so we plan to do the Madeleine tour next.

I did it last November and it was very enjoyable. I found that our guide was very friendly, had great showmanship skills, and knew the answers to a lot of my backstage questions (or maybe he made them up). You do get little earpieces to wear so you can always hear them over the din of Main Street.

We started with a long walk down Main Street, learning about the start of the Florida project and some of the names on the windows (a mini version of Connecting with Walt), we wandered through the hub and down into Adventureland and Frontierland, went backstage to see where the trash was handled and saw all of the MSEP floats and how they were driven. There was a mediocre lunch at CHH, a discussion of the Tiki Room as we watched the show (POTC was closed at this time) then a long talk about Haunted Mansion and a ride through it. We finished off with about 30 minutes of walking through the Utilidoors.

When you are backstage you could ask questions about the park and get the non-Disney answers, which was cool as I learned about the workings of talking Mickey and Turtle Talk. Definitely come prepared with a few questions to make the tour even more enjoyable.

They gave out water before the tour started but none during it, so make sure you have some available.

I take the tour next Friday! Can't wait. I think my total was about $90 with AP discount. I think it's $100 without.

how much does this tour cost?
$79 plus tax. If you have AP, DVC or Disney Visa, 15% discount. Admission to the park is also needed. Make sure to bring a photo ID.

I think the tours may be seasonally priced now, best to check.
