Keys to the Kingdom Tour

Another vote for go for it if you have the time and won't be able to go again when you have others with you. If you plan on spending the day at MK until it closes you will have had one full but fun day!

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour when I went several years ago, and would recommend it to anyone. In fact, I enjoyed it much more than the Backstage Magic tour, which took eight hours and cost $200+!

Sounds like you (OP) have been to WDW at least a few times. If so, I'd recommend doing the tour, since your family isn't interested. Since the tour includes at least a couple of rides and lunch, you'll be able to check those things off your list. Schedule your FPs for late afternoon/evening, and have a wonderful time!

Thank you for all of the feedback! I booked the 8:30 am tour! I looked at a few blogs about the tour as well (skipping some of the spoiler info that would take away the "ah ha" moments) and everyone seems to feel it's worth the time and money. I will be done early enough to ride other attractions and enjoy the park. I had been following another thread on late-April crowds and I don't think that time of year will be too bad so that's another plus b/c the afternoon won't be too hectic.
