Keys To The Kingdom Tour with CM Matthew

Has anyone else gone on this tour with Matthew as their guide? He was hilarious, entertaining, and so knowledgable! We had a great time, and were almost always laughing at his comments! He also spoke very frankly about Disney's corporate side...and also spoke very honestly about what it's like to be a cast member at Disney. We really enjoyed this tour....And while touring the utilladors (spelling?) we even saw a large group of new Disney cast members getting a tour of their own!

we had the one with Rae. while she was 'okay', there was just something about her that rubbed me wrong.

We were there at the same time as you. And had Matthew as our tour guide. what day and time did you do the tour??? We were on the tour Thursday, November 16th at 9:30. Were you with our group?

We did the tour the day after Thanksgiving...the 24th of November, at 9:00....and I would have recognized you from your picture in your sig. It would have been great to go on the tour with other Disboard members! In fact my husband said that a bunch of us should schedule it together and drive the tour guides crazy with all the facts we already know!

I went on the tour with Mathew in October. He was a great guide! He was so knowledgable and funny. I remember him saying that Rae has not been doing the tour as long as he has. He said some of the places that he took us were different than her tour because she is newer and follows the tour exactly how she was taught. He said that he likes to push the envelope a little and see how far he can get without getting into trouble. He was great!

our Matthew was blond. looked to be early 30's. and had an insulin pump that looked like a pager that he kept checking about every hour or so. and loved his 'stick' that he carried with him.

Yep! That's him! He would say things like....as he was about to open the doors to the utillidors..."...and now, for what you've all been waiting for...ladies and gentlemen...(opening doors)....A PARKING LOT!" And he also asked us as the park opened "So...were you here to witness the running of the guests? It's a lot safer than the running of the bulls...because the bulls have no strollers."

Apparently, to be a MK tour guide, your name has to be Matt!

I took the tour in 2005 with Rae and absolutely loved her. But I'd like to take it once again with another guide to see the difference. I loved hearing the story about the history behind the mcdonalds fry wagon!
