Keys to the Kingdom Tour - with camera?

Anyone do this tour? I know I read you cannot take pictures backstage, but I'm assuming I can bring my camera along and take pictures of other parts of the tour. But then, I don't like to assume anything. Anyone been on the tour? Did you bring your camera along and use it???

Yes, you can bring it. BUT they are very clear about no pictures of backstage areas.

Did this tour on Tuesday (5 Oct). Yes, I took my camera and did not take one picture. I noticed no one else on my tour took any pictures. Why? I cannot even answer for myself, but by all means take your camera and take the pictures you want - as said earlier, however, no backstage pictures allowed. Have done this tour before and really enjoy it -- the tour guide also makes a big impact. This past tour never did go to Tomorrowland and spent in my opinion too much time in the utilidor. My tour guide last year was much better and more informative with tidbits of information rather than an overall picture of Disney itself. Have fun and enjoy!!! BTW, my tour this year 5 1/2 hours, last year, 5:20 minutes.

I have to say that none of my tours have gone into TomorrowLand. We did spend a fair amount of time underground...wish that had been cut short a bit.
I also know that different guides are better than others. THe first one I had, Jarod, was wonderful. He was full of great trivia. But the guide we had in August was just so-so. He was an older gentleman, and while he was informative, he did inform us quite a bit about his 'life story'. I'm sure he has had an interesting life, but I wish we had focused more on the tour itself.

you can bring your camera....you cant take pics of the backstage are but everything else you can...great tour.

Yes, it does -- that's the main draw of the tour.

OP -- definitely take your camera -- you can use it anywhere "onstage." (When I went on it, we got stalled on POTC, and lights came up -- I even took a couple of photos then).

My daughter carried her camera when we did the tour. the tour was great but I don't remember her taking any pictures even where you were allowed to. I think one group photo at lunch with our guide and that was it. What she got some great pictures of was the empty MK Main Street while we were waiting for our tour time!
