The keys to the kingdom tour is sold out for the week we are there (Sept 25-Oct 2)
The only way to book is to keep calling back and randomly checking :worried:
Wish it was easier to check for cancellations.
Do people cancel last minute? Any advice on how to get a reservation for 2 this week?
Thanks!!

Just keep checking. People do cancel since if they do a no-show, they still pay. And not necessarily inexpensive. People's plans do change, they do cancel.

It is sold out the week before also. We have 3 people attending the tour on 9/24 and I called last week to add another, and could not. She checked the 24th and all of our vacation days before and after and they are all sold out. We booked months and months ago. I guess you just have to book early.

I have taken this tour two times already, and never had to book so early. It must be gaining in popularity.

I should have known better than to wait to book :confused3 I will try randomly to see if anything is available but I'm still happy just to be
at DisneyWorld. Wish there was a cancellation thread like the dining cancellation threads. If anyone out there is going to cancel their
tour during the week of Sept 25-Oct 1, if you feel like pm'ing me to coordinate, I would appreciate it! ::yes::

I would just keep checking, I've actually been on a number of the tours and diving in the living seas and never booked any of them until the day we arrived and decided that might be fun. Might just be lucky on our part but won't hurt to keep checking.

I tried just now (after I saw this thread) for Dec 7th and 8th and they're both sold out too :worried: Bummer

We have been trying to do this tour for years. I've never had success in getting a canceled spot but have kept trying a lot. This trip, we called the second we booked and happened to get a spot finally. We were prepared to shift our entire trip around getting it if needed.

We went on the tour last year and literally booked 3 weeks before hand with out any problems (Mid Oct). I would keep trying, the tour is totally worth it. Plus, as most people have already said, plans always change and there might be cancellations.

I'm curious: how many do they let In each KTTK tour?:confused3

If I remember correctly I would say apx 25-30ppl were on the tour with us.

We visited the end of June. Had 2 tours booked that week with KTTK first. After doing that tour, we didn't want to give up another full day and cancelled our 2nd tour very close to the 48 hour cut off. I would imagine there may be others that cancel very close to their deadline once they get to WDW and decide not to give up that amount of time doing an organized activity.
Best of luck. It's an AWESOME tour.

We are taking our son for his 16th birthday - he has been asking to do this tour for as long as I can remember. I just called tonight to book it for December 2nd (the only day it is offered when we are there because of parade taping), and no such luck. I am going to keep calling and crossing my fingers that there is a cancellation. I called a couple of weeks ago and there was availability, but had to wait for budgeting purposes and lost it. :sad1: They did have Backstage Magic Tours available, but that is just way way out of the budget.

Dan! I was not sure you would remember us!! Matt will be 16 in November!! I see you have had a couple more additions to your family!! :grouphug:

DH and I were looking to do this on 9/27...I've been calling everyday no luck:(

DH & I booked for 10/10 back in June? I didn't even realize these tours would sell out! I think due to Free Dining & Wine/Dine September looks to be a much busier time at WDW.

Is the tour a perk for something which has become popular? like maybe ine of the dining plans?
