Keys to the Kingdom tour--Photography allowed??

We are planning to take this tour on our next trip and I was wondering what the photography restrictions are. I would prefer to leave the cameras behind if they aren't allowed but if I can take pictures I would hate to be without them!! Can anyone who has taken the tour give me some insight on this?

When I went last time, we were able to take pictures out in the park, but not in any of the backstage areas. The tour guide was very good about telling us when we could and could not use cameras.

I have the tour booked for next month, and the confirmation letter Disney sent me says no backpacks, camera equipment, or video equipment. So, you're probably better off leaving the camera behind. It's a long tour, and you won't want any extra weight when you're touring.

When are you taking the tour? I see that you are arriving in the world a few days after me. I'm taking it on August 21st.

We had to check our camera before they would allow us to leave on the tour. We could pick it back up after the tour was over.

Oops, I guess we posted at the same time. They allowed us to leave our cameras at City Hall. They were kept behind the counter and were returned to us by the guide at the end of the tour. The tour didn't start until we had all checked our cameras. The nice thing about checking them was that we could still retrieve them to use for the rest of the day without returning to the room.
