We are thinking of booking this tour for my DH & I when we go on our kidless weekend. Is this tour worht it or should we try another one. We want to do something different this trip but after 9 trips it is becoming more difficult.

Can anyone make some suggestions for fun things to do without the kids. It has been a while since we went without them. They are 10 & 3 and planning with them is really different than planning without them.
We have PAP's if that makes a difference.

Thanks

Read my trip report from October in my sig. It was an adult only trip!

We're going back in about a week and a half for our ten year anniversary, again without our girls.

We're doing the Keys tour, GF afternoon tea and some dinners. I'll be happy to post when we get back how the Keys tour was. I've heard great things.

DGF and I did the KTTK tour in early December and it was the highlight of our trip. I have been to WDW many times and this is definately a way to see the same things that you have seen before in a totally different light. We got to ride a few rides, go to some backstage areas, and into the utilidor. Our guide, Steve, was great and he answered every question that our group threw at him. A highlight of the tour was that Steve used to be a Jungle Cruise Skipper, and he took us on the ride, on our own boat. He knew everything about the ride, and it was a really great experience. It definately gives you a healthy respect for how much goes into running the Magic Kingdom on a day to day basis.
It was worth every penny, and I would highly recommend it.

I have been going for years to WDW, but last Nov was the first time I was on a tour. I took the Keys of the Kingdom and it was a fantastic experience. I would recommend it to anyone.
this next trip I am going to do three of the tours: Undiscovered Future World, Secrets of the Steam trains, and one at AK (can't remember the name_
go on a tour, you will enjoy it.

Can't give you a first hand report, but my FIL did it on our last trip and LOVED IT! He said it was worth every penny!

In 2001 I was doing my first solo trip and went on this tour! Even though I have read many books and been to MK several times I learned so much! Some of the tour was based on what the group asked in questions and choices given as we toured. Lunch was very fast but nice to sit in our own roped off section. I would love to take my husband and son on this tour in the future but you really have to be up to walking (and they aren't!).

You will enjoy every minute!

Try the Segway tour at Epcot. It's wonderful! You'll get a 15% discount with your PAP. It was, by far, the highlight of the trip. And it's something only adults (16 y/o+, i believe) can do.

I did the KTTK tour the first of January on the solo portion of my trip. It was great!! We rode HM and Jungle Cruise. Included lunch at Columbia House is a roped off area. The tour was longer than I expected, and involved alot of standing around--which was hard for me as this was 2 days after I walked the 1/2 marathon, but I would highly recommend this. You also get a neat pin.

We did the TKTTK tour in Dec as a family (my youngest is 16). This was a fantastic tour and you will have a great time.

There is so much info to be had on this tour and seeing some of the backstage stuff is facinating.

We did Pirates and HM for rides, went into HM from a back entrance and got stuck on Pirates. Our CM was great and the little tidbits he passed on were great. I will never look at the HM the same again.

. . . and loved it so much that the next time we were there, we bought tickets for dear friend of ours for a anniversary/birthday present. They loved it too! If you can, see if Brick is there giving tours. He's great!

I've done Keys and Behind the Magic and I loved both of them. I think both of you would really enjoy any tour, they are truly special. Try reading about them and pick one you think is interesting to you.

Have Fun!!

If you think you know a lot about WDW, go on the Keys to the Kingdom Tour and you will find out there is so much more to learn.
That was our first tour we ever went on. We weren't sure we wanted to take the time as it is somewhat long. But it was time and money well spent.

Last year we went on the Steam Engine Train Tour and it was great.
