Hi all, have 2 questions:

1) Keys to the Kingdom Tour: when you call to book, are you required to pay in advance?

2) We have 8:25AM reservations at Crystal Palace with our kids, and then are hoping to to do the Keys to the Kingdom tour at 9:30AM (kids will stay with MIL's). Is that enough time to be at Crystal Palace or will we be rushing?

Thanks in advance! This particular day is our anniversary so we wanted to spend the morning with the kiddos, do the tour and then a nice dinner after! :)

I would say definitely not enough time. You may not get seated promptly, for one thing. Also, if you want to see all the characters it can take quite awhile.

Can you send the kids to Crystal Palace with MIL and meet up with all of them later?

Way to jam packed to enjoy any of your plans.

To enjoy a character buffet you need to account for at least an hour and half. (especially if you have kids)
This is not "lounging" or taking your time eating, it is a nice pace to enjoy both the food and the characters.

Personally what I would do is send the kiddos with grandma to CP and to enjoy the afternoon and meet back up with them late afternoon for a relaxing dinner.
Then you and DH can either sleep in an hour or take an earlier breakfast just the 2 of you before your tour.

Good luck and have fun!!

I agree, that is definitely not enough time to enjoy the Crystal Palace. :) Not to mention there is no guarantee you'll be seated right at 8:25. (though with it being so early you have a better chance.) Better to schedule the tour for another time. :)

To answer your first question, yes, you have to pay when you make your reservation. We really enjoyed the tour.

I agree that it's jam packed. I did book our KTTK tour this morning at 9:30AM. I think what we're going to do is still go to CP and just eat breakfast but leave the kiddos with the grandma's when we have to leave at 9:15AM. This is our 2nd time at CP and we have other character breakfasts planned as well. My guess is we'll at least be present for at least one character interaction and don't think we'll miss out too much on photos for the other characters since both my mom and MIL are camera happy. Thanks all!
