We can't decide on what to do in Key West ~ well besides Hard Rock and people watch. But the kids want to have fun too...lol

I found this tour company but I was hoping someone jere has used them before. They replied quickly to my email and seemed very nice. Anyway, check this out and tell me what you think.

Peter,

Actually we were thinking the water may be too cool to swim :) It is going to be beautiful weather (supposed) 74° / 66° but I am afraid the water is going to be cool.

That is a good idea to bring something to drink. They said they have refreshments but we will probably bring some left over room service (wink wink) and some drinks.

The key west aquarium!
It was really inexpensive but pretty cool, you get to pet a baby shark, watch sharks, and rays be fed and the neatest thing was a sawfish, I had never seen one before, the trainer got it to lift his (or her) saw out of the water it was pretty cool. Our son is nine and really enjoyed it.

If you love cats, the Hemingway House is about a 10 minute walk from Hard Rock. It'll take longer if you stop at all the shops along the way.

They have about 60 cats there, many of them are six toed, which is what makes them unique.

My friends went there and enjoyed it very much. I'm allergic to cats, so I went in search of lime pie instead.

Have fun!

Thanks Ann but we have an awesome aquarium here in New Orleans so it wouldn't be a big deal to the girls.

As for the six toed cats tigerhoo ~ I don't think we have any of those here! Well, there may be a few ~ a potion or two gone bad! lol

Thanks for the tip about the cats at the Hemingway house. I am highly allergic to cats so I will not get within 50 feet of the place!

My wife and DD like cats and might stop by the Hemingway house to see them.

I'll go have a beer some place or perhaps meet them somewhere for a slice of Key Lime pie. Any suggestions for where to get the best Key Lime pie?
