Key West Sunset Cruise?

Has anyone had experience with the sunset cruise at Key West. And is it good for children (DS5 and DS3)

I have not been on this excursion, but I was reading the new passporter last night and it didnt get the best reviews from cruisers. You might check out the passporter for a more thourough review.

Hi this is Shirley and I was born and raised in Key West - my feelings on the Sunset cruise if you have children - wouldn't do it - you have one of the cruises that is a "nude" cruise and my own children (even tho they were adults) were exposed to it unfortunalty but they were older enough to laugh about it - you can have an awesome view of the sunset from the Laconcha Hotel - you have almost a 360 degree view of Key West, the harbor and the sunset - save your money.
Now this is just my feelings ok.

I thought the view from Deck 10 was great, that's where I watched it.

I was on the Magic on a Western cruise and we went to our verander on a Cat 4 room to sit and watch the sunset.

We had great views and saw all of the sunset boats go out, they didnt seem to far, of course ours was free.

Whilst the young kids were with me the 'NAKED' boat went past, very close, and everyone on it were... well were, moving about and shaking everything.

They came close, my kids are ok and had a laugh and everytime we watch the video we have some close ups!

I agree Andrew: the best view of the sunset is from the Magic! Will never again stand in the crowd in Mallory Sq. jumping up and down to get a glimpse of the sunset! God forget to give me long legs!Shall just sit outside on deck 10 with a glass of wine and watch the sun slowly sinking.Nat
