There is a large post office within walking distance of Mallory Square(Its been there forever, so I expect it still is, even though its been a few years since I've used it.) I'm certain there are many enterprising folk willing to sell you a coconut near the Square but I would suggest just walking around a little while to find a couple of nice ones on the ground. Cheaper and more personal.
Post offices usually have boxes to sell these days so that shouldn't be a problem....
Good luck coconut hunting!

In my last house I probably had to dump a couple of thousand pounds of coconuts over the years( 5 very prolific palms!), no exageration(sp?).
Hey there,
I will be in Key West this coming Wednesday and always bring coconuts home in you want any of them - I forgot what the exalt cost is to mail the coconuts, but there is also a place at Mallory Square that will mail them for you - the coconuts do make quite the impression when mailed, but as Norman says, who was a postman in Key West for 40 years, man oh man he is glad it isn't him delivering them -----MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT GET ANY TEE SHIRT SHOPS TO MAIL THEM - they will charge you a fortune and guess what - they won't get mailed -
If i can help with any questions, just let me know.
As always
Shirley
