Key West Parasailing?

Has any one parasailed in Key West? I am considering cancelling my CC parasailing. I did call Sunset Watersports- they are less expensive than CC and the ride is longer-however their cancellation policy is 48 hrs out. Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

Hi this is Shirley and an old conch from Key West - I will be going down there with weekend to check out a number of things out that will help or not good for everyone - as soon as I get back, I will post a full report and also will be bringing back a lot more of pamplets etc with me to share with anyone that wants them

Yes there is a great place to parasail in Key West..as soon as you get off the ship you will see a large banner on the shops over to your left on the corner...We paid $75 for TWO people to tandem together. Disney wanted $85 per person I believe. My two sons loved it. They signed up and were in the air within an hour. they take off with four Couples or four singles every hour...about 8-9 minutes in the air after takeoff...yellow boats that say parasailing. Last October we Parasailed in Key West via FuryCatamaran .It was within walking distance from the port and I believe it was $75 for a tandem flight for me and ds(12) $8 to ride on the boat if you were not parasailing. My dd(9) decided at the last minute she was brave enough and 3 of us sailed together with out an extra charge. The guys running the boat were great and I gave them a nice tip to show my appreciation for the no charge flight. I also believe the cancellation policy was pretty fair in that if the ship did not dock you would not be charged. Just make your ressies early as they book up pretty quick. Oh! I almost forgot, the flight is twice as long as CC. Have fun

We did a tandem parasail last Sept with Fury Catamaran. It was fabulous. I highly recommend them.
