 Hello, We will be in Key West on a Sunday. I read about coconut postcards at Mallory Square. Will we be able to mail them when post offices are closed? Are they expensive? How long would it take to reach Michigan?

Am I the only one that thinks this would be a good laugh? :rotfl: Shirley, I thought you or Norm would have the answer to this. :sunny:

I bought one of these a couple of years ago in Key West. The vendor takes care of shipping it for you. If I recall correctly the prices were very reasonable and included the shipping. You just give them the label and they take care of getting it in USPS. To me, the funniest part is when you open your mailbox back home and there's the coconut -- they ship as is, no wrapping!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

The ladies that sell coconut postcards at Mallory Square are not there every day. I purchased one from them and all I had to do was give them my "From" and "To" address and they did the rest. It arrived in 2 days because they ship them Priority Mail through the post office. It was only $25.00 and that included the postage. I now order from their website. It is the same price as buying it at Mallory Square and they have more than just coconut postcards on their site-they have many different coconut products. You can also order a "custom" coconut through their website for the same price as their normal ones-you just leave them your request on their email link and they get back to you right away. They usually ship your order the next day.

The website for the people at Mallory Square who sell coconut postcards is mycoconutcreations.com. They ship them for you. Website is same price and same ship time as buying them at Mallory Square. It takes 2 days for them to arrive in almost everywhere in the United States.

Good morning,
I wonder if this company mentioned here, is in KW or further up the keys.
Anyhow there was a company right in front of Keno Sandels - amazing how a coconut can be made into "something" when all we used them for was water and the meat -
I remember that about 4 or so years ago, I was asked if I could send a couple for one of the cruisers as a way of telling their spouse they were taking a vacation and total cost was about $14.00 or so each- guess prices have gone up like everything else.
Always
