We ordered 10 day non-expiring tickets for our trip next fall. We will be using only about 5 days at that time. I understand when you check in to the hotel the room key is the ticket for everything- parks, dining etc. I understand that but dont get what happens to the remaining days of our 10 day pass...Do we keep our "room key" for later use another year even tho we obviously have checked out? Or can you get an actual room key separate from a park pass?? This answer is probably elsewhere on the boards but no luck so far finding it...

Keep your room key, on your next trip, they can transfer the remaining 'tickets' to the new room key.

In June, my son and I went to Pop - I had an AP, he had a 10-day non-exp hopper. Our trip was 4 days, we would be returning in December. He managed with the separate ticket in June.

In December, when checking in, the CM at the front desk was able to put his remaining admission onto his room key, and told us if there was any left, to bring it back and it could also be transferred.

Ok thanks, this makes sense. We have one day left from old passes 3 years ago, so between that and a few days of the 10 day we will have at least 5 days left over. The cost difference was so tiny between a 5 or 6 day and a 10 day I just couldnt pass it up.
