Key lime pie as a dessert?

That's my favorite dessert and many of the DW restaurants offer it, or they did when we were there last time. I would be disappointed if I couldn't have it several times.

I personally know that CS Flame Tree Barbecue, Key Lime Pie was the dessert option. Well, maybe I should put in a disclaimer: at least last September it was. It was delicious!!:thumbsup2

Old Key West's restaurant Olivias has a great key lime pie. When the kids were younger and in bed I would sneak over to grab a couple pieces for DW and myself.

I could swear I saw it at Restaurantasarous(SP) at DAK. If I'm not mistaken, Key Lime Pie was Walt Disney's favorite dessert. :)

The one at Wolfgang Puck Cafe is really yummy! :thumbsup2

Here is my review with pictures:

Ok my mouth is watering after looking at those pics! We'll be eating there in September.

Sorry to go off topic for a moment, but how strrong was the pumkin flavor for the ravioli? I want to try that, but I'm afraid of how strong it might be. I like pumpkin, but not an overwhelming "sweet" pumpkin flavor, if that makes sense.

Anyone see this available as a dessert anywhere?

I had it at several places, because that is a favorite of mine. However, it has been a while, so forgive me if I'm a bit fuzzy on where exactly. :lmao: Capt Jacks, I'm sure of, and Flame Tree BBQ at Animal Kingdom. And there was one more... The 1900 Park Fare buffet, maybe?

It was not strong at all. Just a yummy flavour. I would ask for extra sauce if I were to get this entree again though. Maybe extra sauce on the side?

A mini- key lime pie is one option at the Land's Sunshine Season's Fair, and it's really cheap there. And delicious. Not to be missed!

The Grand Floridian Cafe also lists a mini key lime pie (with a chocolate crust) on their dessert menu.

My dh loves it, too, so I always try to book a couple of places he can get it. Of course, invariably he ends up ordering something else :rotfl2:, but at least I tried!

Yachtsman Steakhouse does a nice Key Lime Pie :)

Claire ;)
