My wife wants to take her 1 cup Keurig this May. She wants to take it as carry-on in a tote. I think it would be better off checked-in. Has anyone taken their Keurig and if so how? TIA.

When I saw the topic title, I assumed someone wanted to brew coffee at the airplane seat. After all, airplane coffee usually is not good, and some airplane seats have 110V outlets for laptop computers.

I'm pretty sure that would be a bad idea.

I rented one. I took along my own coffee and my own creamers
The Kurig is too expensive to be transporting it.

Funny.... I was wondering the same thing. I picked up the small Keurig after Christmas with my Kohls cash and my 30% off so I got it for about $10 out of pocket. Taking mine in April and leaving in our Owners Locker. I was undecided about checking or taking in my carry-on too.

I took a mini Keurig brewer and packed it in my checked luggage. I used the cardboard packing that the brewer originally came in, put clothes around it and it arrived just fine each way.

Reading this thread title, I thought this was a sequel to Snakes on a Plane.
