Keurig® MINI Plus Brewer

Has anyone installed the repair kit for the Keurig Mini Brewer? I received mine today and really don't like the appearance. Any info would be appreciated!

I figure this is the best approach. I received my replacement part but I haven't even opened the box. I am not mechanical, and I don't even brew stuff back to back or stand near it when it is brewing.
