Hi all,
Are electric kettles provided or can you request them? I noticed that in the Members Handbook they provide a 'tea kettle' in the one bedrooms but I'm guessing they mean the boil on the hob kind. Anybody know?
Thanks
You're right, it is a boil on the hob kettle. Last year we bought one from Walmart for making baby formula, can't remember exactly how much but it was very cheap.
I might just buy one out there if they're cheap, as we'll be staying in a studio so won't have the hob option. Was it small enough to bring back home in your luggage, ready for the next trip?

We take a small travel kettle which is 'universal voltage' so works in both US and UK but is pretty slow on US voltage. If you could get a dual voltage one that would work well in the US and UK.
The studios have a coffee maker which is fine for, er, coffee , but doesn't boil water so isn't great for making tea.
We bought one from Walmart too. Being 110V definitely speeds up the boil. We always take our own tea bags as well. The only thing I can't do without on holiday {or Vacation if we're in USA} is a Mug of Tea in the morning !
Yes it is small enough too bring home and cost around $10 from wallmart...and o'boy is it better than the kettle on the hob...it seems to take for ever to boil
