kettle's at ssr?

anybody know if there are any kettles at ssr? dd is really not a breafast eater and she said she will eat porridge if anything however I need boiling water. thanks

There are kettles in the 1 and 2 bedroom just not in the studios.

My wife is a tea drinker. We have stayed in a 1 bedroom at SSR 5 different times, and there has NEVER been a kettle in the unit. You just call Housekeeping and they will bring one up.

This may be stupid, but cant you just use the coffee maker to make water hot without putting coffee in the filter? I have never done that, but it sounds like it would work to get the "hot tea kettle". You of course can use the microwave for boiling water too!

my dd is extremley sensitive to taste and I would think there would be some coffee taste in the hot water. I was just thinking if Im anywhere near AP I can just get hotwater from there

Coffee leaves a film behind in the part of the coffee maker that holds the filter. Unless you did a thorough cleaning of the coffee maker first, I think that using it for hot water would taint the water. Plus it really doesn't get the water hot enough for tea and probably not for instant oatmeal either.

In all of our DVC stays we've only once had a tea kettle in our kitchen. We just heat the water in the microwave. If you are making instant oatmeal you can usually microwave it right in the bowl.
