Keto Desserts

Last time I was in Disney I had a very hard time finding no sugar added treats. I’m diabetic and usually very strict but when I vacation I like to treat myself. I try to stick to lower carb treats so that often means strawberries. And while I love them, it’s always nice to have ice cream or something baked when vacationing. I was wondering what people have been able to find, and if they found anything do they know the carb counts? I found a “no sugar added”ice cream at Ghirardelli’s. I have no idea what the carb count was and to be honest, didn’t care! I just wanted something! But ideally, if there was a “go to” list it would be helpful. It doesn’t matter if it’s a place that is temporarily closed or scaled back due to Covid, if anyone knows of anything please post. Thanks!

I tried to find a list but couldn’t and when I arrived at Disney they couldn’t give me a list either. I deleted all my social media accounts but 2 which are this one and YouTube, so I don’t have anymore Facebook access.

There are often cheese plates available for desert. That's probably going to be your best option unless you really want something sweet.

Is fruit an option? Sometimes cut fruit is an listed, but listed as a side dish for kids, not a dessert.

I'm keto and I have never found any truly keto desserts at Disney. I don't think they really exist, except for something like strawberries (like you mentioned) and Halo Top (like another poster mentioned). When I go there, I just treat myself for a week (but I'm not actually diabetic which makes a difference).

I treat myself a little too. I’m on meds and since I rarely cheat it seems ok so long as I keep it rare. I’d still prefer to have some more “no sugar added” options, just surprised because Disney caters to everything else. Didn’t know about the Halo Top. There is sugar free Wherthers candy in Epcot Germany. But I can get that anywhere and bring it with me. Hopefully they will add more, and I’ll email Disney and ask that they develop recipes.
