Kessler - Celebration Hotel

HI. I'm hoping someone can enlighten me on their experience with the Kessler Celebration Hotel . Found some good rates there in July and thinking about spending a day or two there.

Also what else is there to do in Celebration Florida?

Celebration is a nice little town, but I wouldnt say there's really anything to do. In my opinion, its a nice location for a quiet off site stay.

As far as the hotel, its a great property and is a nice quiet alternative to the mega resorts. The Plantation Room is great, and the lakefront pool is nice as well. I've stayed here a few times, and have enjoyed every visit. Full disclosure: I was a manager for Kessler Collection at the Grand Bohemian downtown.

In Celebration you can go on a Segway tour, rent an electric car to drive around, walk the boardwalks, rent a bike, let the kids play in the fountain, and sit in a rocking chair on the lakefront. All of that is within walking distance of the hotel. There is also an arcade downtown, many restaurants, and a few shops.
