Kerry lied

So all democrats are liars and hypocrites?
It's nice to know Republicans are so perfect, Rokkitsci
It really must be such an awesome burden to bear. I have to hand it to you.
All politicians lie. Some of us are more able to accept it and move on than others apparently

Oh my gosh.

HELLO!!!!!!!!

ALL POLITICIANS LIE.

The difference here is, if you asked Kerry if he had ever told a lie, he'd admit it. If you asked Bush, he'd lie.

Sirius,

After hearing this morning that Kerry campaigned using information that apparently was inaccurate, that was the first question that popped into my head, how will John Kerry react to the updated version of the story.

Maybe that's another thread: Will John Kerry admit that he acted based on faulty intelligence? Should he?

I don't believe that either candidate "lied" when acting on information they had every reason to believe was true. If anyone cares what I believe!

IT just keeps getting better and better.

Happens every time a democrat steps in the foul smelling stuff.

They immediately say = "move on" = "old neews" = "who cares"

What they mean is that NOW they are wanting to change the subject to some OTHER lie.

Now that THIS lie has been exposed, it is not an "issue" with them any more.

NOW all that interests them is the NEXT lie they will tell.

And they want to act indignant when someone describes their actions to them.

Same ol democrats - liars - hypocrits - shameless - arrogant.

btw - nobody EVER said that the GOP is perfect - that is just a lame attempt to change the subject or deflect the criticism.

What we GOPers are is honest - not perfect.

Another thing we are is honorable - we would never endanger the national security for political advantage.

I will be so glad when this current corrupt and dishonorable bunch of democrat leaders is out of power. I really feel that a better brand of opposition will arise from the ashes of this current collection of fanatics and anti-american fools.

I really want an honorable opposition. I want an opponent that will argue their points of view instead of lying about their intent.

Maybe I could become a democrat again. I do NOT want the GOP to have total political power for 50 years like the democrats did. I believe it was this long run of total power that made the democrats so arrogant and self-centered. I fear this would happen to the GOP after 50 years too.

Loyal opposition is what we need.

But of course - this is the logical response that any thinking individual would have. It is the obvious thoughts that we GOPers kept wondering what was so hard to understand?

But, as you know, this is NOT what the DEMs did - and their media collaberators allowed them to get away with it.

It will be interesting to see how quick the media will jump to the Kerry defense with = "well, he acted out of good faith - he didn't know the information was faulty."

Your point is taken, Rokkitsci. What's good for the goose and all that.

Kerry falls under the same umbrella as Bush on the Iraq war issue. He voted for it. "Lie" is a strong word. (I know you are using the word "Lie" as Kerry did.) I'd say both were misinformed. Both Bush and Kerry acted on the information they were given.

The difference is Kerry chose to use the word "Lie" as part of his platform against Bush, on the very issue he agreed with. How do you part with that?

So he's opened himself up for rebuttal. I'd make a guess that 50% of the American public see it for what it is. We'll see.

Is it Nov. 2 yet??

Is this a contest to see how many times you can say any form of the word lie in a thread ?

In that case Rokki wins!!!

AND, unlike Bush not only do I claim to have proof and I can actually produce it!!!

liars... lie... lie... lie... lies... liar... liar... lying... liar... lying... lied... liar... lie... lies... lie... lying... liar... lie... lyin... lying... lied... lied... liar... liar... lie... liar... liar... liar...

Hey, at least the right will have won something!:teeth:

Anyone care to do a re-count or do you just want to concede defeat???

OH PLEASE! Kerry has lied plenty in his campaign speeches. Everytime he says Bush is going to start the draft up...that's a lie. Ask him if he's a liar and I'm sure he'll say that's just my take on it.

Thanks for the laugh, this has been really entertaining. I keep hoping that maybe one day people will realize the absurdity of the political rhetoric that goes on. I think what Jon Stewart told the guys on Crossfire could apply to most of the discussion here.

I looked up ..liar in the dictionary..you are not going to believe what it has...

::yes::

An old-timer I knew when I was young was fond of saying that if ever you were to come across a tombstone that read "Here lies a politician and an honest man," there must be two people buried in that grave.

Given that everyone who runs for public office is a politician, we might accept that they all tell lies. The trick is to figure out which one tells the fewest... or the best... or is the most convincing...

Okay, I'm getting a headache...
