This might sound like a strange question...but i was at WDW Jan 2nd-9th (just a couple short weeks ago...feels much longer!!) and i saw a couple of families (in the new muppet portion of the afternoon parade) wearing a kermit/miss piggy volunteer pin. I was curious if anyone knows if WDW is giving these out to anyone/everyone who turns in their voucher for volunteering,or if they were just special pin's that the people chosen for the parade got to wear. Kermit is my favorite, and i am SO excited that the muppets are gaining some popularity b/c of the GAD promotion! I am not going back to WDW until Dec of this year (10th-17th to be exact!!) and i plan on redeeming my voucher on the first day we are there! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I believe those pins are an option...instead of the GAD ticket, or the Fastpass...

There was a pic somewhere in this forum of it, it's a 7 pin set... (I think someone said they got it at Disneyland in CA)

Its only four pins for exchange if you don't have an annual pass. Passholders (annual) get the set of seven pins.

Sorry!...i should've been more clear about which pin it was! It is a pin similar to the birthday,anniversary,engagement,1st visit type one's. The large circle...and it had Kermit and Miss Piggy on it! It's not the trading type pin's. Sorry about that!

If you mean the round pins.... Yes, you get those pins when you redeem your GAD voucher.

These are more of a large button and were given at the windew when we traded in our vouchers. I have seen quite a few around and CM will thank us for volunteering and ask what we did. I saw a family in MK get a free lunch after a restaruant greeter thanked them for volunteering.

I'm excited about getting one of these pins too! I love Kermit and Miss Piggy!

Nope...

There is a commerative pin set, on Mickey Ears (instread of the GAD ticket, or Fastpass).

Check out this pic (from another thread)

Each person who redeems a GAD voucher gets a round button with pictures of Kermit and Miss Piggy. If you don't want to redeem your voucher for an admission ticket or fast passes you can choose the Mickey hat with the collector's pins. I think Disney refers to this as the figurine option. Some neat pins, and the hat is actually a container with a base on it so it can be used for storage of small items.
