Here is a few wonderful photo's from todays storms we had here in Bullitt County Ky. Just outside of Louisville if you are wondering.

Hear was the storms a building. This thing was HUGE!!

Shortly after the rain stopped around 8:30 pm

Where in WI? DH & I are originally from WI, and will be heading that direction to visit family in a few weeks.

Yeah, the storm didn't seem to hit us as hard as it did in some other areas.

appleton area. Marinette, Oconto, Pestigo, Chiltion,Green bay... All got nailed hard too. Where in Wi are you orginally from?

I was born in New Richmond, lived in Wausau, Wisconsin Rapids, Iola, and several other places before my family settled in Milwaukee. DH was born & raised in Milwaukee.

We will be heading to Madison to see my sister, and then to Milwaukee to see my parents, extended family (aunts & uncles) and friends. And looking forward to enjoying some cooler (hopefully) weather!!

We used to go to the car show when I was younger. DH would like to check it out sometime, but we have not timed our trip during the car show yet. I have not been to Wausau since I was in middle school. My dad still has friends up there and goes deer hunting near Wausau though.

I heard about all of the rain in the Milwaukee area. I guess my parent's house avoided the flooding, but lots of others have not been so lucky.
