I read on this site recently that people could not find this condiment, well we just got back 12/9 to 12/12 and I looked at every counter that sold chicken fingers and they all had the Kens honey mustard sauce

We can't find it at home. It isn't a national brand.

Its wonderful though, and the whole reason to eat chicken fingers at Disney

Is it this brand? They used to have the honey dijon dressing at work, but they haven't had it in a few weeks. Maybe they don't make it anymore? :confused3 I didn't see it on the website (just fat free). Too bad, 'cause it was sooo good.

When it comes to chicken fingers.......at any counter service in the world.......Maybe I take five or six of those packets......great...one of my favs in the park.

They have the regular on the website.

I don't believe Ken's honey dijon is available in bottled form. I saw a segment on Unwrapped about a company that produces single-serve condiments for restaurants. They get the formulas for the condiments from the "name" companies and then produce the condiments and package them in those little packets (like ketchup, mustard) or dip containers (like the beloved honey dijon) with the "name" company logos on them.

That's interesting. (Isn't it amazing that we've done a whole thread about this stuff?! Just shows that it's really good honey dijon! ;) ). The packets we had at my workplace were individual salad dressing pouches, like you'd get at a fast food restaurant for a salad. It was Ken's Honey Dijon. Next time I work, I'll ask the ladies in the cafeteria what happened to it. I sure hope they didn't stop making it!

I don't think it is silly to have a whole thread about this stuff! Yum! I just got back from a trip and brought a few packages home with me in hopes of using the info off of it to find it locally. Well bad news is its a food service only item. It is made by Kens Foodservice. Go to this page and choose "Honey Mustards" then hit "Go". The sauce we all love is item #1263.

Update: I just called Kens Foodservice to ask about the product and if there was any way to get it. I was told it is made exclusively for Disney and is not available anywhere else :sad1: . The person I spoke with also said none of their other products are similar. I guess I need to start planning my next trip back to Disney to get another "fix".

If anyone wants to try to duplicate the recipe here are the list of ingredients off the package.
Ingredients: Water, Sugar, Soybean Oil, Honey, Dijon Mustard (Water, Mustard Seed, Distilled Vinegar, Salt, White Wine, Citric Acid, Tartaric Acid, Spices), Distilled Vinegar, Contains less than 2% of: Egg Yolk, Salt, Sour Cream Solids (Milk), Xantham Gum, Propylene Glycol Alginate, Onion, Natural Flavor, Sorbic Acid and Calcium Disodium EDTA as Preservatives, Spice.

Hmmm...after reading the ingredients maybe we shouldn't be eating this stuff :rotfl: . If anyone comes up with a home made version that is close please post it.

I remember seeing Ken's everywhere except for Wolfgang Puck Express. They had Kraft. We were there yesterday.
