Kennywood meet feeler 5/3/03!

It appears I'm 7 roller coasters short of 99, so before I go to Cedar Point on 5/4 and ride Top Thrill Dragster for my 100th, I need to get some credits! I thought Kennywood since that is relatively close to CP, but I need to borrow a partner for Thunderbolt and a kid of Lil' Phantom. So for those in the Pittsburgh area, would you be able to meet on 5/3 at Kennywood? Who has kids I can borrow?

This is just a feeler. Nothing is set in stone yet!

Barry, I can't help you out with the little kid (my boys are 11 and 13), but the Thunderbolt is my favorite coaster and I'd love to help you reach 100.

My status the weekend of May 4/5 is iffy - DH and both DS's were supposed to visit DC with boy scouts, but they canceled that trip because of the war/security, so now they're planning to do Cedar Point that weekend. If moms are allowed to go, I'm going with them; haven't been to Cedar Point since the boys were little.

If I'm home, I'll be your partner on the Thunderbolt. If I go to Cedar Point, I'll watch you ride Top Thrill Dragster on May 5!

Kennywood has some great coasters. I went there a few years ago!!

I would love to be able to help. We all love Kennywood. My DH and I grew up 5 minutes from the park and now live about 45 min. from it. I have a 4yo soon to be 5yo boy who loves the lil Phantom, unfortunately his birthday party is that same day. 5-3 at Chuck E. Cheeses.

Anyone else? It doesn't look too good now for a Kennywood meet. I may have to head the other way and go to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom and/or Holiday World.

I grew up going to Kennywood and LOVE it. Too bad I am not close to it anymore. I guess WDW will have to do.

I just saw Kennywood on the Travel Channel and it looks so neat! I just wish it weren't the weekend before my sister's wedding. I don't know what she will need done that weekend so I don't feel right taking off to go to Kennywood. Have a great time though!
