Kennel at disney?

Hi- I'm a new poster! I'm planning a trip to Disneyland in August and was wondering if anyone has ever used the kennels at the park. Bad/good experiences?

Also, can you please recommend a good dog friendly hotel (she's a mini daschund) nearby?
