hello plp i no its ages away until i go to wdw but i'm so excited !!!!
i'm wondering if there is a shuttle bus that would take us to kennedy we don't drive so we won't have our own car.


oh another question will there still be lots to do with a 14mth baby ? how resticted will i be with him

Hi,

Sorry cannot help regarding the Kennedy question, maybe your hotel could advise.

We first took Joshua when he was 10 months, and yes to be honest we was too young, however, providing you take things at an easy pace you will be fine.

One thing would you want to take what could be a long bus ride to the coast with a young child, I am not sure I would do that personally.

As far as the theme parks are concerned, there are young children of all ages there, I would suggest you get to the parks early when the crowds will be lower and it won't be quite as hot - when are you going by the way?

No overall it won't hamper you too much, there may be rides that you do not get on but just play that by ear when you get there - it is definitely 'do-able' because we did it - have plenty of rest days and relax between your theme park days as much as you can.

there was an interesting article on Kennedy posted at mouseplanet .com this week, it may help you decide if its practical taking a baby with you. I hope im allowed to mention this site on here, sorry if i am not!

I agree with Johnny, taking a long bus ride with a baby isn't the easiest thing to do.

When we visited KSC, it took us over an hour to get there by car. And then the touring inside also would most likely be boring for a baby, who's way too young to understand.

i didn't notice if you said when you're going, but if it's in the summer, you should also consider that part of your time will be outdoors, which is beastly hot....

don't get me wrong, we loved visiting KSC, but my kids were teens at the time, so that makes a big difference...
