this will be our 4th year to disney (3rd year with the kids!) we think now is maybe the time to do Kennedy Space Centre... i think my DS5 would LOVE it!!:thumbsup2
what are peoples thoughts on it, with young kids?!
how much to pay at the gate?
anywhere for a meal (which the kids can enjoy) in or nearby?
best day or time to go!?

thank you:worship:

We took our kids when they were aged 8 & 6. My youngest (a girl) enjoyed the day out but not quite so much as her elder brother. My arm was twisted into going by my DH and I wasn't really looking forward to it much but is was a brilliant day out.

The best bit for us was taking the bus tour out to the different areas of the space center. You can go up an observation platform and look over all the launch pads. But probably the most incredible sight is Saturn 5. The sheer size of it is amazing. The 3d films in the Imax theatres are good too. We saw a film all about the International Space Station.

We spent a day there but to see everything you would probably need 2 days. We ate in the cafe there (can't remember what it was called) but the food was quite good from what I remember and kid friendly! There is also very little shade at KSC so take plenty of sun cream and a hat!

thank you, sounds fab... thank for the advice re shade too!:thumbsup2
