Kennedy Space Centre with Virgin

I booked this excursion through Virgin-does anyone know if the tickets come with your holiday stuff or do you have to attend one of their blimming "welcome meetings" to get your mitts on the tickets? I will not be happy if its the latter. I am already sick of the numerous phone calls I keep getting from some bozo at Virgin trying to flog me extra stuff.

did you book it with the 'free' transfers with Virgin too?

We did when we went in May.
thing is we had to meet at Downtown Disney very early in the morning (around 6am to catch the coach, obviously Disney transport hadnt started then) Had to pay to get there and meet the coach, it then spent the next hour and a half making stops along the way before starting the hour drive to Kennedy. we then didnt get back until around 8pm to Downtown Disney.

Im hoping youre driving but just wanted to warn you of what may happen.

im not sure youll have the same ordeal as us but just wanted you to bear in mind it will be a long day.

when we went with virgin I think we got picked up at DTD about 7.30am and we arrived home about 6pm. We did go to a few hotels but not loads, this was a couple of years ago though

I don't think Virgin do the "welcome meetings" anymore. They did in May but I read somewhere that they have stopped them.

There is a Virgin Holiday's desk just near the bus parking, next to the 2nd luggage collection conveyor belt you use in to get the monorail, you will probably get your tickets from there.

Im sure when we went in May, all our tickets were sent out to us.

just had to ring up a number given on the tickets-48hours in advance (i think) to get pick up details.

Oh wow, thanks for all the help folks-lets hope the weather is about to pick up eh?

On a side note there's supposed to be a shuttle launch 3 days beofre our KSC trip-lets also hope thats not postponed or it will bugger up the trip anyway!!
