Wondering should we go to the Kennedy Space Centre?

Staying at WDW for 5 nights in January 2005? Unsure if we will have time? Going with DH, DD19, DS17 & me.

Any advice or recommendations?

If you are planning on visiting all of the parks and waterparks or going to Universal or Sea World, then I don't think you'll have enough time. It's about 75 minutes to Kennedy Space Center and then you need 4-5 hours touring the center, looking at the exhibits, etc.

But if someone in your family is really into the space program, then take the time to go - it is worth it.

I am just making a suggestion, our daughter found the bus tour boring. She was 15 at the time and is a science person. We all loved the space center exhibits in the building but would not recommend tour unless someone is really into space. We went to Merrit Island National refuge,(it is real clsoe to the space center, you can go to a beach and see protect turtle nests(depending on time of year.) If you do the driving tour of the refuge you can also see mantee in the wild. You can probably find information on Naitonal Park/Refuge site. It is just one Natural thing you can do if your family wants a down day. hope this helps
