Hi All,

We are off to Florida for our fourth trip in May this year - but one thing we've never done before is Kennedy Space Centre. We definitley want to go on this trip but are unsure about the best ticket option. We will not have a car so will be using one of the tour providers and their bus transport. From what we can see this will have us arriving at about 11:00ish.

Looking at the tickets we're inclined to opt for the 'Kennedy Space Centre Pass with Transportation' - link to the one I mean below. Includes a lunch with an astornaut and an additional 2 hour tour to different areas.

The only concern we have is whether there will be enough time to make it worth buying this over the standard admission? The difference in cost is £114pp for the space pass compared with £71pp for standard admission. Could anyone who has been / done either of these options give us an idea of whether the Space Pass is going to be worth it please? We don't want to pay lots extra but not have enough time to make the most of it.

All help much appreciated!

You arrive at 11am ...... 11.30 by the time you are through the entrance.

noon time before you have " Sorted yourselves " and made your way to the

Imax cinema ( A MUST ) . Over by 1 pm ..... then wander to see other sights

2pm Go to Free bus tour .... part of your entry ticket

2.15 pm enter bus .... for 20 min tour approx. .

3pm see ( Close up ... 3 ft from it ) the Space Shuttle

4 pm see other sights

4.45 pm RUN to Bus that leaves at 5 pm

There is no time for Lunch in the above scene .

Is the extra Money per person Worth it ?

We had standard admission and drove ourselves, and the Shuttle Exhibit was not open at that point, and we still ran out of time!

Unless you've been before it's not worth it

Note.
On some days there will be an Astronaut giving talks & also near the Shuttle there are ex

workers giving info.

Hi

It's such a great place we've been four times, I think 11.00 is almost too late to do everything even on a standard ticket. If you check out the itineraries you'll see what I mean. You can easily spend two hours in the Imax, worth the admission on its own in our opinion. We had lunch with an astronaut one year which was great and a really nice lunch. The Astronaut Encounter is an hour and you get to meet a real live astronaut in the shop later. You should do one or the other!

Sorry we think it's so cool we didn't go last year and it's on the list for sure this year.

Hire a car for the day get there for 9.00 am and let them throw you out at 5.00 pm

Regards

Paul
