We are looking at going to the Kennedy Space Center.

Any views on the best way to get tickets? On the gate? via their site? some other site?

Thanks for your help,

Mark

So long as you are not trying to get admissions on the day of a launch - I'd recommend simply buying them at the gate. Also for planning purposes, remember that the regular admission ticket actually buys you 2 days of admission.

We have always bought on the gate, we enjoy it there :)

Once we paid on the gate, used coupon I picked up in one of the many booklets locally, gave us $2-3pp off.
Other time we bought Annual passes, again at the gate, only cost slightly more than a day ticket and got 2 visits in the year out of it.

Check http://www.mousesavers.com/ksc.html see what discounts they have listed,

Looks like the gate wins it then and I'll take a look for coupons :)

Thanks,

Mark

I'm another person who bought on the gate - not noticeably dearer than pre-booking, especially if you get coupons as previous posters have mentioned.

The only thing I'll say is that they'll push you towards buying the full package with the tour, IMAX film and access to the Astronaut Hall of Fame down the road, even though there are a number of different ticket options at lower prices (or at least there were when I went there last). Personally I'm a massive space buff and spent so long at the various exhibits on site and on the tour, that I didn't get time to see the film and as for the HoF, well I'd have probably needed a whole extra day if I wanted to visit that!

Just buy admission to what you think you're going to get time to see is what I'm trying to get at. Kennedy is one of the few days in the holiday that you shouldn't feel the need to rush around trying to do everything like people do in the parks (well, I do!)

Hiya,

we also buy on the gate - nice not to have to plan every day in advance... loads of places have the mags with coupons in too.

Anyone have any experience of the tickets which include transportation?
I really want to go this year and neither DF nor I drive so only option would be this.
