Hi, Can anyone tell me how long it will take to get to Kennedy space center from wilderness lodge please. Is it easy to get to or quite complicated?

Will about 5hrs or so be long enought to spend at the center.

Went over Christmas about 1:15 to 1:30 . Fairly easy to get there. They have 4 different location that you go to that are available only by bus. I would figure a little more than 5 hours. It can take 20 minutes to go from building to building. We went 12/26 and it was very busy. Any questionms??

KSC has a good website with visitor information and prices.

Between travel to and from KSC, and travel between buildings and exhibits, this could easily be most of a day. Getting to KSC is faily easy. From WDW you'd head as if you're going back to the airport (I-4 to the Beeline) and stay on the Beeline (528)... the rest is right from the KSC website:

Travel east on SR 528 until you reach the SR 407 exit going to Kennedy Space Center and Titusville. Take SR 407 until it dead ends into SR 405. Turn right (east) onto SR 405 and follow the signs for Kennedy Space Center. You will travel approximately 9 miles on SR 405. The KSC Visitor Complex will be on your right.

Just so you know, the SR 407 exit is a left hand exit. You'll see some overhead signage just before the exit. The right lanes will take you to the Port Canaveral, the left exit will take you to KSC.

KSC is great to see. Very easy to get to having never driven in fl before. There are a couple of toll booths along the way.

We actually got to see the shuttle on the launching pad when we went last may. That is the shuttle that launched last time for the return to flight mission. we were about 2-3 miles from it, the closest they said civilians can be. it was so awesome to see. the whole tour was wonderful and we may go back and do it again.
