Kennedy Space Center What Day To Go?

Anyone who has visited the KSC, what day did you go? Is there a day that is not as busy as another?

We were thinking maybe on a Thurs. or a Sunday. This wil be the first week of Aug.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We went the Sat. before Easter and it wasn't crowded at all. We did get there right when they opened, and only stayed until about 1:00. It is very spread out, and the bus system seems to work well-- don't know if it would ever be as crowded as a Disney park!

Early in the week is usually the best time for KSC. The weekends definitely get busier, and the bus tours can get quite crowded (especially getting back on again). I'd go on a Monday or Tuesday, do the bus tour first, then take some time to see the rest of the Center, and the nearby Astronaut Hall of Fame (included with the Maximum Access pass).
