Kennedy Space center LANDING

Just found out that the shuttle is supposed to be landing at 2 pm the day we were planning at being at KSC. I know that can easily change. I was wondering if we should change the date - we don't have much flexibility and was trying to go to KSC on a day we expected the disney parks to be crowded. Will the tours be disrupted or is a landing so low key that it won't matter. We were planning on taking the up close tour if that matters. TIA!

We were there when the Air Show was going on and all tours that weekend were cancelled. I'd call KSC and ask first if you really want to do the tours.
