Does anyone know the best way to send a letter to Ken Potrock? I sent a letter 2 weeks ago to...

200 Celebration Place
2nd Floor, Suite 210
Celebration, FL 34747

...and it returned yesterday as "undeliverable as addressed".

TIA

Thank you. I was really surprised it came back as undeliverable, as the 200 Celebration Place address is a completely legitimate address, and I believe still occupied by DVC offices. Even if he doesn't work there, you would think they could've forwarded it via inter-office.

I think that 200 was the old building.

They built a new DVD/DVC multi story a few years ago.

Actually your chances of it actually getting to him are pretty slim, as it will get intercepted along the way. Most all Disney correspondence goes through the P.O. Boxes and not actually street address.

They could send him an email, he answered mine or had someone acting like him answer my email.

Email might actually get to him, though they will have to search to find that as best I remember we are not suppose to share those here, as they get spammed.

Definitely no DVC offices at the 200 Celebration Place address. They used to be there but all was moved to the new building a couple of years ago.

200 Celebration Place used to be where MS, Admin, Accounting and the DVC executive offices were located for many years. it's been at least 5-7 years since the dedicated DVC bldg was completed which is on Celebration Blvd at the address erionm notes above.

Potrock seems like a nice enough guy but he has a lot more irons in the fire than just DVC these days. Wish his sole focus was DVC….

DVC seems more like putting on a show now. Big talk, little action, it's all about making money. Why they don't fix the basics and communicate better is beyond me. They don't seem to have trouble communicating when it comes to marketing but everything else is kept secret.

Having the same people doing sales and managing the DVC is almost a conflict of interest, makes me wonder if we would be better off with a separate dedicated manager who would really look out for our best interests and fight the mouse for us?

Bill, I certainly agree with you on the above quote. I think Potrock has way too much on his plate to really, really know what's going on with DVC. But I don't know what you're talking about "same people doing sales and managing the DVC". They really aren't the same people. I do think there are some folks on the steering committee that could use some basic business classes though……JMHO.

What I mean is Ken and company report to Disney and their job is selling contracts and making money. They also manage the DVC and collect a management fee from us to do so. We pay them for MS, the website, the refurbs, all resort expenses, they really do not answer to anyone in their management functions and they pretty much do what they feel like.

Who do you think will get most of their attention, Disney who can fire them tomorrow or give the raises and bonuses or managing the DVC which they can put on autopilot?

Could someone be so kind as to reply or PM with Potrock's email or verify the mailing address?

In looking at the latest Disney Files Magazine, the magazine asks for photos to be sent to the address you posted (1390 Celebration Blvd.). Member services people I have spoken to (those that are not "remote" cast members) tell me they are stationed in Celebration. the PO box for DVC is PO Box 10350, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830. No idea about e-mail, but I can assure you that his e-mails are gone through by an admin or chief of staff, who will forward accordingly. If you address snail mail to him, it may get to his admin's desk...and again will be read before being put into his correspondence folder "for reading and forwarding) or will be sent along to someone else.

Public info shows that most Disney folks use first name dot last name @disney.com

The general mail address for all of WDW is PO Box 10,000, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830. Address your letter to:
Ken Podrock, Disney Vacation Club
PO Box 10,000
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830.

That will get to him.
