Kelly's Kids--any reps out there?

I'm thinking of becoming a rep for Kelly's Kids and was hoping to hear experiences you've had with the company.

Are they good to work with? How's their rep. support? Quick shipping to customers? Quality of the product?

Big question--are you able to sell well even when you don't have your sample kit? The recruiter explained that I'd have the kit for one week per selling season, but could hold shows/parties even without it...a catalog party. Do you really sell much that way? I've just never been to a party without the product there so was wondering how well it goes over with the customers.

Just hoping to hear some others' experiences before I dive in!
Thanks for sharing yours! :)

I've never even heard of this product. What do they sell?

I have done book parties from Tupperware (as a hostess...I don't sell the stuff) and had a hard time selling it. I think people are more apt to buy if they are there in person, with the items and they can actually see what they are getting.

(When I saw kelly's kids I thought it would be a post about a charity named Kelly's Kids that was started by Jim Kelly. It gives money to underprivelidged youth.)

When my kids were small, I loved Kelly's Kids. You can have the kit for only one week per season! That's crazy. I went to party's where they had the clothes for two days, so how many party's could you have in a week.

I think that you could have catalog parties if the people were somewhat familar with the product. I don't know if having the clothes is that important, esp. if you could bring clothes from past season's. I think that it would be great to see stuff from past season's to show people how great the stuff washes up.

I'm not a rep, but between Kelly's Kids and Ragsland, I am broke every season! They sell such cute things!

I would think you would be fine without the kit if you had people who were already familiar with the line.
If I were a first -time buyer I would want to see some of the clothes - not just catalog pics before I bought.
Maybe even having one or two of your own items there would help - like someone else stated, they wouldn't even need to be from the current season.

Good Luck with your decision.

Thanks for your input! C

Clothes on hand....t..hat's the problem...

I don't have any. I just found this company online and love their stuff, and so am ordering some of last season's to have on hand, but don't have any yet.

Also, none of my friends seem to be familiar with it, so that's what I'm worried about....I don't have that familiarity to ease not having samples. There are no other reps in my city according to the company....the closest ones are 10 miles and 30 miles away.

Hopefully after I get some stuff, having it on hand from last season, people can see how well they are made, hold up, etc.

When I found the site, I was also looking for somthing I could do from home, and since noone around here is already selling it, I won't have too many people to compete against. I love Pampered Chef and Creative Memories, but you can't turn around without bumping into a rep for those companies....they compete against each other for the same people's parties all the time....

Any other opinions/thoughts/suggestios?
