Good idea.. I just read that on the BB a couple of minutes ago..

I have to check what I have here - and make sure my DD and her DH check what they have down in their travel trailer and back at their home..

Thanks for sharing!

If they do the same traceabliity tests as we do they will be able to find out which packaging caused the problem and what happened. Every piece of packaging we use is marked down on paper work for that reason. Also we keep samples of every product so that they can be checked at a later date as well. There is a lot of paperwork involved in food manufacturer (I work for a well known cereal company in the UK). Having said that this will cost the firm a lot of money recalling a product isn't cheap and that is a large amount of product to recall.

Just checked our Apple Jacks that DS 9 ate 3/4ths of and it matches the recall. He is fine, no side effects.

I bought extra boxes of Fruit Loops and Apple Jacks when they were on sale so we could get the Toy Story promotion codes. I ended up with 3 unopened boxes of recalled Fruit Loops. Our Apple Jacks are all OK. I still have to call in to get the replacement coupons.
