Did anyone else cry when Kellie was singing her song this (Friday) morning? Didn't catch the title, but it is a song she wrote and is on her new CD.
It was about her Mom, I guess her Mom left when she was young. Anyway, about half way through the song I had tears running down my checks. It was the first time she had sung the song in public and she had tears also.
She seems like such a sweet girl. I hope she can handle the success ahead of her.

Yeah I like her a lot, poor kid seems to have had a pretty rough life, I think her father abandoned her as well when she was young, I hope she gets extremely rich and famous. She shouldn't have any trouble finding someone to love her at this point, half the guys in the country would probably kill to be with her. She's adorable.

I agree. I hope she doesn't just fall for the first jerk who wants to get her "adorableness" into bed though. She needs someone who will truly love her for her.

I'm watching it right now and SOBBING...when she breaks down in the middle of it, oh my Very emotional and I give her huge kudos for sharing a part of her with the rest of us. Well done Ms.Pickler!

She is a little doll, isn't she? Hopefully the love her Grandfather gave her was the reason she is so sweet now. No child should have to suffer like she did with those parents.

I jsut read in the paper yesterday that her jailbird father sold all her stuff from when she was a child. All her memorabelia etc. I don't think she is suing but the article said she was estranged from her father now since he sold the items.
She has had a tough life, I hope she finds all the recognition she deserves. Peggie

That was heartbreaking, I started crying when she did, so sad.

I had DVRed that and just watched it.
Very sad. I started to cry when she almost lost it and covered her face.

I caught the very end of this performance and wondered why she was crying. The words to that song are so sad...no wonder she cried. She seems to be such a sweet girl. She deserves all the success she receives...hope she can handle it.
