Silly question...but I'm a kid at heart. Are adults allowed to use the Keister Coaster water slide at the Boardwalk Inn, and have you seen any on it?

:thewave:

Err.. umm . . . well .. . I've used it  but it was fun! Of course, I'm just a big 29 year old kid at WDW

DH, Mom, and MIL, too .. . we've never had any strange looks.

Lots of adults use it. I went down it a bunch of times with my granddaughter, and so did my husband. Have fun!!!

So glad someone else had the courage to ask this question. That is, if I were ever going to do that!

Ahhh, the advantages of having grandchildren, or even your own children later in life! So many things you can do and not look like a complete fool. "I'm only doing this because my little girl wants me to... she won't go by herself." I think I've used that line a few times.

Sure is funny how Walt Disney World erases all the years. I felt like a kid again the last time I was there. I think I was more excited to see Belle than my DD5 was. And I never cheer at a sporting event, but bring Mickey out at the beginning of Fantasmic and I'm the loudest one in the bunch. Where else can a 40 year old woman wear mouse ears all day and not get a single funny look?

I think maybe that's why we're all so obsessed with Disney. It makes us feel young again! :earsgirl:

I have gone down all the slides at every resort we've stayed at. The slide at SAB is the best!!

Yes adults use the slide and some of us should know better.

Especially when they tell you the pool is closing. DO NOT GO DOWN THE SLIDE!!! They turn the water off. Let me tell you ...you need to hit the water after coming all the way down that thing waterless.:o

And I went down. It was a blast.

I go down all the slides at our resorts. We've stayed at DXL, POFQ, YC, BC, Swan, Dolphin, & CSR and Keister Coaster is my favorite slide. Enjoy!!

where is SAB? :mickeybar

SAB=Stormalong Bay, located at the BC/YC/BCV. You have to stay there to use SAB.

Is there an age or height requirement for children on the slide at the Boardwalk? I have a 2-1/2 year old grandson and would like to know if he will be allowed to go down the slide with an adult.

I go down it everytime we go to the BWI! It's a blast! Don't worry ~ there are plenty of adults using it.

dialane~ I don't know if a 2-1/2 year old could handle this slide. It is pretty tall and twists a few times. I come down it crooked sometimes from the force of the water and the height of the slide. I don't think they allow you to hold your child while sliding -- at least I have never seen it before.
