Keepsake Floral

I'll find the words and get back to you. MY DH's sister purchased the glass for us in a velvet bag. We set it out on the table along with our candle lighting ceremony candles (see the blue bag next to the glass vases).

Check out this website. The glass and bag was something like this.

Reverend Miller said something about not only joining two people but two religions and then we did the candle lighting ceremony. At the end of the ceremony he explined the meaning of the glass breaking ceremony and then Sheldon broke the glass. It stayed in the blue velvet bag.

We took the autotrain back and forth to Florida so we just put it in our luggage in our car but I am sure you would not have a problem putting it in your luggage and loading it on the plane. I would not take it in my carry on.

Here is a website that shows the frame. I purchased it in a store in our area and it was about the same price.

Hi Linda...I love the picture frame you got for your DH.

One question for you: I've heard that the specialty glass is more difficult to break so most people just use a light bulb. Did your DH find the glass hard to break or did it break in one try? I'd much rather use colored glass than a light bulb but not if it's going to be difficult to break.

The glass we used was very thin and my DH did not have any trouble breaking it. Not all the glass fit in the container on the frame (I still have some in the bag). It did not shatter completely so I did break it up some more before putting it in the frame. I have also heard about using a light bulb but I am glad we used the colored glass.

I actually looked at the floor in the WP...luckily..there is some hardwood floor there...but I'm in panic almost wedding time mode...:rotfl2:

Ember-Thanks...We put a lot of effort into finding that! There was a website that sent you a glass and after you broke it, you sent it back to them and they blew it into a either a plate, bowl or vase..but again...it came down to $$$..Then we found this! I can't wait to get it! :lovestruc
.

Is the company called Mazel Tov Glass? We did that through them. We sent the glass back and they are making it into a decorative bowl. We should be getting it back any day now, I can't wait to see it!!!! :yay:

Back to the Keepsake Floral for anyone else considering this, we did this, and even though it was pricey, it was so worth it in my opinion. We have the bouquet resemblance in a domed oval frame, hanging in our living room. Its actually hanging next to my Thomas Kinkade of Cinderella's Castle so I can't help but think of our wedding and honeymoon everyday and it makes me happy :goodvibes

YUP! But we didn't want to deal with the price...and then DH said "We would just have a bowl that would eventually break anyway..." It was my first choice but he was kind of right...So, the scope it is!
